Definitely one of the most popular new year’s resolutions is to get on a diet and lose much of the fat too.
Well! If that was your goal for 2015 and things aren’t exactly going smoothly, probably believe one or more myths about weight loss!
These little pearls of wisdom are somehow ingrained in the minds of lovers of diets, although most times are far from the truth!
Let me explain exactly what I’m talking about: here we go ready (in random order) my top 10 myths about weight loss …
10. bananas fattening
This we all saw it appear in internet advertising. The idea that bananas are fattening is silly and misleading.
The dear old banana is indeed very healthy snack filled with antioxidants and a good source of fiber. weight loss
They are also rich in vitamins and make a great dose of super mineral potassium.
The banana myth likely stems from the fact that it is rich in natural sugars and thus can contribute to weight gain if ingested in large amounts and not burned through.
Try to eat them as snacks pre workout or slice in your breakfast cereal and you’ll find that they are an excellent source of energy.
Unless you consume per hundredweight, bananas will not make you fat!
9. Skipping breakfast makes you fat
Lets get one thing … is not the Act of skipping breakfast that can cause weight gain, is that usually by breaking the fast at lunchtime, you’ll be much hungrier and thus likely to overeat. weight loss
In my experience, skipping breakfast or “fasting” until lunch, however, can be a good way to lose weight.
I practice fasting intermittently and, skipping breakfast, my body can only burn fat as fuel during the first half of the day.
You simply need to avoid all hopped up in the meal that follows.
8. The egg yolks make you fat
It is true that the yolks contain a lot of fat but are also weight loss protein!
I often hear horrible stories of people who toss them all eating only the whites.
As always, moderation is the key. If you are preparing an omelette with 4 eggs, keep at least two yolks. Not the absolute evil that everyone wants you to believe.
7. The HIIT workout is best for weight loss
High intensity interval training (HIIT or) is currently considered the best type of cardio to burn fat – but in spite of all the studies and research, I found that it is not the best option for me. weight loss

How many times have you seen a friend or work colleague lose weight and, proud of the results, telling everyone about this “new” diet which is following and how they go to the gym 3 times a week?
And how many times have you seen that same person 6 or 12 months after go back exactly the same as before the miracle?
At this point someone will tell you that this is proof that go on a diet doesn’t work and will soon take back the weight you lost initially, if not more.
This happens simply because you go back to old habits. Once you reach the preset weight, develops a thought like “I’ve been so good, don’t hurt me an ice cream.”
And at that time it is true, it won’t hurt an ice cream … but soon things will change. Without realizing it, convinced that person day after day that not even a hamburger or a bag of chips or a beer will hurt, deep down has been so good at follow the diet so far. ..
